Why are women still under-represented in scientific disciplines? What are the real impacts of motherhood on their careers and salaries? In this video, Dominique Meurs examines these crucial questions that make us realize that professional equality between women and men is not yet fully effective.

Dominique Meurs is executive director of the Labor Chair at the Paris School of Economics, professor at University Paris Nanterre, co-director of the Travail et emploi program at the CEPREMAP and affiliated researcher at EconomiX. Her research focuses on inequalities in the labour market, the measurement of discrimination against immigrants and descendants and occupational inequalities between women and men in business.
