Research chair : Globalization Chair

The Globalization Chair aims to deepen the understanding of the new context of globalization and its implications.

CMA CGM and Tangram have joined forces with the Paris School of Economics to launch the Globalization Research Chair.

Sandra Poncet, professor at the Paris School of Economics and university Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, presents the chair and its objectives.

Objectives

The Globalization Chair has three main objectives:

  • to identify the mechanisms at work in this new order, in particular the respective roles of political, geostrategic and technological developments;
  • quantify the reorganizations underway in production, supply and marketing practices in the new context of heightened risk;
  • to identify effective strategies, from the point of view of both companies and public authorities, according to different objectives.

In this way, it aims to create a privileged forum for reflection, exchange and transfer between researchers, aimed at all parts of society interested in the reconfiguration of globalization and its implications.
