The Paris School of Economics is pleased to invite you to the annual conference of the French Association of Energy Economists.

The year 2024 was characterized by changes which had a strategic impact on the work of energy economists. These transformations have directed energy economists towards research which will be presented to us during an academic morning. For their part, economic players observed energy policies which will be analyzed in an afternoon devoted to energy policies.

The winners of the F-AEE Prize 2024 will be announced on November 26, 2024.

15:55-16:55  Session 2: Technologies, raw materials, dependencies in the energy transition
Pressure on the raw materials sector is increasing, the energy transition requires relaunching the mining industry and creating new industrial sectors. For Europe, this will result in new dependencies, what are the challenges, can gas and oil provide lessons for tackling the energy transition in a globalized context ?

The conference is aimed at anyone interested in the energy economy who wishes to understand these mechanisms and deepen their knowledge.
