Regulation, Environment, Market, Research Chairs, Research Groups, Urban New Deal Chair, Workshop : Territorial Energy Meetings
Address: 12 rue Jean Antoine de Baif 75013 Paris
Faced with climate challenges and the urgent need for an accelerated energy transition, the energy renovation of buildings—particularly public assets—has become a priority in France. Yet, despite its importance, this transformation is struggling to gain the necessary momentum to meet current challenges.
This event aims to bring together all key stakeholders—local authorities, businesses, experts, and institutions—to identify and overcome the barriers hindering this scale-up. The gathering will shed light on the technical, financial, political, and social challenges of energy renovation, while also proposing concrete solutions to accelerate its implementation.
Through four roundtables and expert discussions, major topics will be addressed, including renewable energy production, building energy efficiency, energy distribution, and collective self-consumption.
This day of exchange and shared experiences will help define concrete actions to sustainably transform our energy model and make our regions more resilient and self-sufficient.
This event is organized by the GB2A Group, the Economics of Public Private Partnerships Chair, the Urban New Deal Chair and the Laboratoire d’Économie Rouen Normandie, in partnership with the Banque des territoires | Groupe Caisse Des dépôts and Equans France.
The Urban New Deal Chair has been created to contribute to the public debate in France and at an international level on the conditions that facilitate the implementation of these transformations and providing decision-making support tools for city stakeholders.
